Orthotics are medical-grade devices that insert into your shoe to provide support, cushioning and stability when you’re on your feet. By encouraging healthy function and movement they reduce overload and fatigue to reduce pain and prevent injuries.
They come in a range of shapes, styles, colours and support features but are customised to you and your feet! So they will work with your feet and not against them!

There are some shoes that may not be suitable for orthotic treatment but we can guide you with footwear choices.
Rebates on orthotic devices are available through your podiatry private health insurance when you are fitted by our Podiatrists.
The Orthotics Process:
A thorough assessment including a biomechanical assessment and gait analysis are performed
Stance podiatry will provide you with a tailor management plan specific to your goals
We perform a 3D laser scan of your feet occurs and sent to our orthotic laboratory
Your podiatrist determines a prescription based on what device will work best for you
The 3D image of your feet is used and orthotics are machined and finish off by hand
Custom Foot Orthotics are produced and returned within 2-3 weeks
Orthotic fitting appointment is organised
